::[ C O S F E S T   V I I I ]::

Cosfest VIII is finally over and it being my first time selling stuff at Cosfest, I can say it was definitely crazier and squeezier than the previous 2 events I took part in.
It was great talking to and meeting people from either sgcafe or DA and that I'm grateful for all the support from everyone who came, to visit, to help or just to say hi!

I have a complaint though.. There were just too little chairs provided to people with booths. Or were you able to ask for more than 2? Anyways, my past booth-mate didn't take part this time round but did drop by! and who were selling stuff with me, had to resort to some seat sharing, which is not cool.
We had to leave our prints on the floor (stored safely) and since I was standing most of the time, I had to constantly squat, kneel and stand to grab stuff and all.
My thighs hurt at the end of the day.. Nice stretch! But I didn't plan on turning into Chun-Li at the end of the Event!

Overall it was awesome though. and cosplaying on both days(Watchmen as Rorschach and Hellsing as Alucard, Sigma Harmonics as Sigma and KHR as Hibari).. helping a friend with the booth and a whole lot of friends coming down to the D'Marquee. It was great catching up with old friends at the chalet after Day 1 and though Day 2 was a little more crazy, it was definitely worth it!! I thoroughly enjoyed the performace by the dude who cosplayed Alex Louis Armstrong!


I had actually wanted to enter this jounrnal after catching up on some precious well earned sleep! Unfortunately, I had woken up to a horrible sore throat the next day and had a slight fever along with an irritable cough (Yea, I was pretty worried I was infected with 'The flu'..). Especially since I was so high during Cosfest, giving people hugs, hi-fives and 'manly' chestbumps! Kinda worried the friends around me would've contracted whatever I had too..
Went to the clinic for a check up yesterday and to my astonishment... I DID NOT HAVE IT!
It was just a throat infection..No idea how the hell it came about but I'm not complaining.

THANKS EVERYONE FOR THEIR SUPPORT, HELP AND FOR JUST BEING SUCH AWESOME, KICKASS, ENTHU PEOPLE!!
I'll be looking forward to upcoming events!
