Here's my contribution for the anime convention, Mangaholix Manga Mania 2009 in the Philippines, which happens at the end of November!
It was quite an honour to have been invited.  Unfortunately I'm unable to fly over to attend it.The Theme is, Music - playing music, singing or dancing. Had much fun working on this piece, though it was pretty rushed due to another project in hand, thus, I was unable to carry out 100% of the original concept(once again). Happy with how it turned out anyway. And as many would wonder, yes, that Winged-Tiger character would be my Mascot.. And it's got a guy playing the guitar on it's back.. I actually hadn't planned what character would be riding, but the more I drew, the more it felt like I was drawing my idol from my teen days, Ewan McGregor. Rofl.  As for the concept.. it was pretty simple. A one man nomad musician, traveling the World. *I would so love to do that.* If this piece had Background Music it would be: LITTLE SKY by Kentarou Fukushi, Prince of Tennis.  Cause that was what I was listening to mostly while working on this and I loved the feeling the song potrayed.  C & C are welcome!!
